Q. What are your hotel rates?
A. Rates vary by type of room and time of season.  Please call for current hotel rates 1-605-574-2577
Q. Do you give discounts for AAA or AARP?
A. Yes.  AARP is 10% off current hotel rate.  AAA discount rates vary.  (1 discount per family)Q. What is the best time of year to come to the Black Hills?
A. Spring and Fall are both excellent times to visit us.  Benefits for arriving these time are lower rates and great weather.  Summers are busy for the Black Hills, please call in advance for reservations. 1-605-574-2577.Q. Can I bring a pet?
A. We do allow pets in Standard Rooms.  Certain limitations apply.  You will need to register your pet at checkin.  Please call 1-605-574-2577 for more information.

A. We are located south of Rapid City, just off of Hwy. 16 / 385

Q.What are the hours of the pool?

7am to 10pm everyday

Q. What is the weather like in Hill City, SD?
A. Summer can range from 40′s-50′s @ night and 80′s-90′s during the day.

Q. Do you have microwaves or refrigerators?
A. Yes.  We have them available in all rooms.

Q. Is there fishing and boating available near your hotel?
A. Yes.  There are many lakes & parks in the area.  Major Lake and Spring Creek are near the hotel and provide excellent trout fishing.  Other nearby lakes include: Sheridan Lake (5 miles), Pactola Lake (12 miles), Deerfield Lake (17 miles).

Q.How  far are you from Mt. Rushmore?
A. Approximately 12-13 miles.

Q.What is the best way to get to Mt. Rushmore?
A. From our hotel there are 2 ways.  1:  Take Hwy. 16/385 east and take exit 16A (approx 12 minute drive)  2:  Take Hwy. 244 west, a more scenic route (approx 15 minute drive).

Q. What are the visiting hours of Mt. Rushmore?
A. Hours of operation change.  During peak summer they are 7am to 10:30pm.  Please call 1-605-574-2577 for more information.

Q. What time does the lighting ceremony start?
A. During summer the ceremony starts at 9pm & the lights are turned on at 9:30pm till 10:30pm.   Hours are subject to change.  Please call 1-605-574-2577 for more information.

Q. How much does it cost to visit Mt. Rushmore?
A. They charge for parking only.  It is $11.00 a car load and the pass lasts for 1 full year.

A. 10 Miles.

Q.What is the best way to get to Crazy Horse?
A. From Hill City head south on Hwy. 16/385 approx. 10 miles

A. Open year round.  Summer 7am – dark.  Off-season 8am – dark
